Juneteenth is a holiday that commemorates the day in 1865 when the enslaved people of Texas finally learned that slavery had been abolished and that they were free.
I AM Academy is excited to bring the Juneteenth Freedom Festival to the community of Holland for a time of learning and celebrating black culture and history and connecting with each other.
The Juneteenth Freedom Festival will be on Saturday, June 19 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kollen Park.
